The women of Tuesday
Dance is transformative to our souls. When we lose ourselves in movement we become one with everything.
Every week the Women of Tuesday gather on the top floor of the First Presbyterian Church in San Luis Obispo. Moving together we exercise and stretch our bodies, enjoying the sheer pleasure of the dance.
When we have all gotten nice and hot and pink and sweaty, we gather in a circle in the center of the golden room and tone our prayers of love and healing to the universe. Then we sit and have tea. Light snacks of fruit and nuts, treasures from the garden, grace our picnic cloth. Fine fresh herbal leaves create our tea.
This group is open to all women who would like to experience the sacredness of dance. We accept love donations for the church. Come and join us anytime if you feel inclined.
We begin our dance at 10:45am and dance until noon.
Then we tone and have tea until 12:30pm.
