The Circle
Women’s Circles are changing the world. As women share and express themselves in the safety of the circle, they become empowered. As women rise up, the world embraces its greater collective human growth.
The Circle has been meeting for nearly twenty years and has almost thirty members. Though the group periodically shifts and changes, it remains a constant source of inspiration and support. Our circle helps us to increase our awareness. This not only helps us heal mother earth, but also indirectly helps our men to realize the yin and yang balance residing within us all.
Each month one of the members volunteers to host the group either in her home or out in nature. Loosely based on Celtic and Native American traditions, these gatherings often utilize rituals and ceremonies from any number of traditions.
The Women’s Spirituality Movement began in the late 70’s and early 80‘s. Women’s circles are easy to form. Invite some friends, put a notice on a bulletin board or enlist the members of your quilting or dance group. When we witness each others lives, growth and passions, we begin to create supportive community together.
If you are interested in joining this circle, or would like some help in forming a women's circle of your own, please contact Josephine, using the form on the contact page of this website, under the top menu heading, "About." Blessings to you.
